Northwestern Announces 2026 Study Abroad Trip to Europe; Meetings Scheduled for All Interested Travelers

map showing the locations of the 2026 study abroad trip·¬ÇÑÊÓÆµ’s Study Abroad Committee has announced a 13-day summer 2026 trip to Germany, Italy and Switzerland, with an optional extension to France. The trip is scheduled for May 13–25, 2026.

Led by Dr. Leslie Collins, chair of the Charles Morton Share Trust Division of Nursing and associate professor of nursing, the program is open to all Northwestern students, alumni and the public interested in experiencing European culture, history and landmarks firsthand.

Trip highlights include exploring Munich’s historic charm by visiting the Residenz, the former royal palace of the Wittelsbach monarchs, and Marienplatz, Munich’s main city square. Travelers will glide through the canals of Venice on a gondola, take in the majesty of Lucerne from the Swiss Alps, and explore iconic Paris landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and Notre-Dame Cathedral.

Participants who enroll by May 31, 2025, will receive a $200 discount. Learn more about the Northwestern Summer 2026 Study Abroad Trip by attending one of the upcoming virtual interest meetings:
